How to make them

02/02/2019

Ingredients

So for ingredients, you will need

1 1/2 Cup of sugar

  • 1/2 Cup of shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 Cup of milk
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 2 Cups of flour
  • 1 1/4 Tsp of baking soda

and that's all, but of course, you can add things to it like chocolate chips, nuts, or berries.

Instructions

So as you know I always use gluten-free flour for the recipes and in doing this, it can lead to the bread or desert being dry, but not in this case, so if you feel the need to use gluten-free flour as well, you don't have to worry about the consistency. Anyway, You will want to start by putting your sugar and shortening to a mixing bowl and evenly mix that, this will lead to having the sugar and shortening turning into a creamy like texture {not really creamy, but I couldn't think of the word to describe it, but just that its a good texture.} After you have mixed that together you will want to add your eggs and milk. Mix that all together and add your bananas {now my family uses old bananas like once they turn browner and squishy. You know, the ones that nobody wants to eat bananas. But any we take those and throw them into the freezer until there are enough to make 2 loaves of banana bread, doing this really gives it that moist sweet taste of the bread, and this is really the only way I've known for many years about.} Once you have your bananas in the bowl you'll want to add your; flour, baking soda, and any other ingredients you want in it. After that you'll want to mix until the batter has a nice and smooth consistency to it. Then pour it all into a big enough bread pan and pop it into the preheated oven at 300° for about 1 hour. Then once it is cooled off enjoy!
